Kirstie Mattheis is a Los Angeles based filmmaker from West Chester, Ohio. After graduating from Columbia College Chicago in 2010, she moved to Los Angeles and has been working in post production ever since. Currently working as an Editor on ABC’s The Good Doctor, her past includes assistant editing positions in both television and film, with editing credits on a handful of short films, documentaries, music videos, and commercials.

In August 2017, she and a long time friend Lauren Decker collaborated on an animated short that screened at the World Animation Celebration, and the Marina Del Rey Film Festival.

In 2019, her work on the film “The Get Together,” written and directed by Caitlin Dahl, won an award for Best Editing at the Global Shorts Awards.
